Spiritual Self Defense

Heavenly Father, we come before you with full of JOY hearts, thanking You for the gift of life and the blessings You have blessed us. As we step into the month of April, we seek Your guidance, wisdom and protection in all that we are doing. Strengthen us spiritually, mentally and physically so that we may face challenges with courage and perseverance. Bless our studies and relationships with one another may we grow in faith understanding and love. We place our trust in You knowing that You are always with us. We pray for the holiday of our girls from school and we thank You LORD for a very good Easter .

Throughout April, the girls have actively participated in spiritual activities that deepen their faith in JESUS and personal connection with God. They have gathered for groups prayers, and shared for what they know about the death of JESUS, engages in bible discussions and taken time for personal reflection.
In addition to structured spiritual practices the girls have been embracing values such as gratitude and forgiveness in their daily interactions. By helping one another, offering words encouragement and resolving conflicts peacefully they are putting their faith into action.
Fatuma: Is GOD love Jesus as His son?
Aggy: Yes
Fatuma: why is he allowed His son to be beaten and killed by people?
Mama: GOD wanted to see the love and His greatness, and remember Jesus was His only Son, but GOD gave Him as a sacrifice to redeem us and set us free. You see GOD gave what was of great value to him to save us. It’s a very wonderful love.

Physical Self Defense

Anna, Physical Self Defense Leader
Understanding the importance of self-protection, the girls have continued practicing self- defense techniques that enhance their ability to respond to potential threats. Their training sessions have included practical on how to react in unexpected situations, such as escaping from attackers and using their voice and lessons learnt to draw attention in dangerous moments.
Beyond the physical techniques, emphasis has been placed on awareness and prevention. The girls have been encouraged to trust their instincts and avoid situation that may put them at a risk. The training has not only improved their physical readiness but also boosted their self-confidence, empowering them to carry themselves with assurance in any environment.
