Self Defense
In July we had three self defense sessions instead of four because of the Brave girl event which took place the hole day of the activity and all the group was invited to participate; Esther MUCHIKI, one of the group is leading the team since Patricia went to Kampala for her studies.
Praise God we got 20 pants from Kelly for the girl, each one has at least one pant for exercises.
Some girls miss transportation to come to the activities; We are praying God to give us the way to provide for that need.
Patricia took time to train two of the girls in the self defense and other exercises, Esther Muchiki and Esther Hangi; After the training, one of them, Esther Muchiki, is able now to lead sessions. She is very passionate and loves to help the group; She also uses the videos to learn more and teach to others.
It is very important to each responsible to have a disciple who can replace him in case he is absent; So that the work can continue.

Curriculum
We had very good moments around our curriculum; After lessons on the salvation, three girls received Jesus in their lives.
Twelve girls were regular during the month. These lessons are helping girls to grow spiritually.
To do follow up of the members is sometimes hard because we don’t have airtime (credits) to call or mega for the internet. Let’s pray God for that.
Brave Event!
All the girls were involved in the organization of the brave girl conference. Some in the musical team, others as ushers, Jeanne d’arc led the public speaking work shop, Patricia led the music team and the self defense workshop. It was wonderful to see their energy for the success of the activity. The leadership of the conference was taken by Claudine.
It can be good to organize big eventslike that for the graceful warriors to sensitize girls to join the vision and impact a big number of girls around the world; That can be a good way to fight violence against women.
Testimony
Lydia is one of the graceful warriors in DRC; she lives at her aunt’s home who takes care of her needs. She testified that she is the one who do all the work in the house and nobody appreciate what she do; All she receives it’s bad words saying that she is nothing, she doesn’t have value and she won’t become nothing; She grew up with anger and this life destroyed her self esteem for long time.
But since she started to participate in to The Graceful Warrior Project lessons, her life changed, she know now that she has someone (God) who loves her and who don’t judge her; The curriculum helped her so much She also know that she has value and she has the right to defend herself when someone try to attack her or abuse her.
