Prayers
Sandy’s prayer:
The Lord is my shepherd , I luck nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quit waters. Psalm 23:1-2
Neema’s Prayer:
Our Father in Heaven, we thank you for this month of May, we thank you for your protection and all things that you provide for us. We are praying that you continue providing for us, through our projects especially our farms, we that you keep our harvest safe so that we can get enough food for our home.
Thank you LORD for the rain, because we are believing that our crops will be healthy, we ask that, give us the rain of the amount, which will not bring destruction, like floods or destruction of our crops.
We thank you Lord for the outdoor kitchen, now we can cook our food inside, we are all happy about this.
Spiritual Self Defense
Neema’s Kilimanjaro Team:
This month our girls are still on part seven of the Curriculum, “THE RESULT” my girl were very excited with this part and they wanted to learn more so we repeated the lesson. Also we still stand on Psalms 139: 15- 20. In our life without GOD, everything can be zero.
Sandy’s Maasai Team:
Therefore let us move beyond the elementary teachings about Christ and be taken forward to maturity, not laying again the foundation of repentance from acts that lead to death, and faith in God. Hebrew 6:1
God has been so good to us and we keep growing spiritually, “YouVersion” we have been meditating each morning and His words have given us so much growth and strength and grace more than we deserve. The boys have been so encouraged too to never give up. The boys were taught kindness and how they can help each other.
Physical Self Defense
Neema’s Kilimanjaro Team:
This month we didn’t meet for Physical Self Defense, because girls were very busy with their classes, because they had Terminal Exams and others of Form two they had MOCK Exams, so they were very busy with their studies.
Sandy’s Maasai Team:
We always so excited to learn of the new things for physical defense. This month we focused our energy on being wide when it comes to fights or dangerous situation. One of the participant commended “a brotherhood through love and having each other’s back is so important. Even if we are called street children, we must not be violence to each other.” We spoke on how to avoid arguments that leads no fights and even appointed leaders for discipline.
Dear Father, we pray for healing over the whole world and for many to come to know You. We pray for our sisters and brothers, who are within war zones, Lord that you Holy Spirit will comfort and protect them. We pray for your provision and how grateful we are of all the blessings. We pray for all those who are feeling left behind to see the light and feel your presence. Thank you Lord Father for your never ending grace, in Jesus we pray Amen.
Intellectual Self Defense
Neema’s Kilimanjaro Team:
In this month our girls had their Terminal and Mock Exams, as I asked last month, we pray for them I believe that they will do the best in their studies. We gave them enough time for their preparation, praying and encouraging them so we believe in God, that they will do wonders. Also Monica who is in Collage, we thank God that she is doing great in her studies of Food Production. All in all this girl needs our prayers and encouragement, so let us join together for them.
Sandy’s Maasai Team:
Blessed be our Father who gives us rest. With schools closing for the big holiday, we are so excited to share this rest together, in fact fellowshipping together are our favorite. We all tried our best in school and we will be attending a camp next month and we look forward to learning new things.
When we sit together we lift each other up and encourage in our studies.

Neema’s Kilimanjaro Team:
As Kilimanjaro Team, We are very thankful to our Heavenly father for being in our side and we believe that, he will never abandon us, He will still be there with us all the time.
Sandy’s Maasai Team:
Praise God for being our faithful provider and even more for teaching us new ideas each day. We bless the Lord for our motorbike that continues to work in safety, our motorbike driver needs our prayers. He have been sick for the last 11 days and we pray he recovers sooner so he can continue to work.
Safe House
Our very first GWP safe house sits on 2 acres presently. We own the land and safe house outright!
Outdoor Kitchen
As I mentioned last month that, we were about 90% and now we are 100% and we are using our kitchen now, thank you so much for prayers and donation you gave to make sure that, this is happening.
Livestock
Our Tanzania safe house has goats, cows, chickens and pigs that provide meat, eggs and milk for the girls!
Crops
Our Tanzania safe house has a large field where they grow beans and corn, as well as banana trees, a huge mango tree and lots of fruits and vegetables in the garden next to the house. This takes a huge burden off of the costs of their monthly food budget!
We bought more land! All crops are doing great and we thank God for how He protect them, and are hoping that, this year we will have enough maize and beans. GLORY TO GOD.
Moto Taxis
Now Neema’s team has 3 moto taxis!
The passive income received by two of the moto taxis pays for ALL of her girls to go to school for the entire year, including uniforms, books and supplies!! Praise God!
The 3rd moto taxi pays for ALL of her girls to have health insurance for the entire year!
Taxi Car
Also it was our prayer to be sustainable and independent here in Kilimanjaro, but now we thanks God that we are almost done. We thank God that we have our Car, which will help us to get food, electricity etc.
Also we glorify God that, through our Noah, this May we made 510,000/=
Water Well
Guard Dog
We have a new guard dog named Sal! We bought him from the police station and when he gets a little older he will receive trainings from them so that he can be an extra layer of protection for the girls! Praise God!
