Prayer Chain
Every day of the week there are at least three people on the program to pray for the GWP and for the members around the world. This month we focused on those who are ill, especially for ERASTO, Neema’s husband (Neema is GWP Chief of Tanzania). We believe that God is on control; this situation is there for His glory. We were praying also for volunteers in our team to help Claudine; Praise God for he brought Anette and Gael who are going to help to advance the work. In the next class, other girls are going to join the to team in the prayer chain.
Self Defense
In January, we started a new class with 28 girls. We couldn’t do self-defense because Esther the trainer is in her last class of high school; She is preparing her exams to finish the cycle. We had two sessions learning the two first lessons of the curriculum. Because all the girls in the new group are students in high school, we couldn’t meet during the two last weeks of the Month; they had to be focused on their mid-term exams. Praise God, because now we have Gael who is going to help with self-defense; and Anette will be helping Claudine to train and with administration tasks. It’s is amazing to see how God is making our team big with different abilities. Our prayer is that God bring our vision to another level.
Sustainability Projects
We finished to complete the lean canvas of the gym project and submitted it to the coach for correction. The name we choose is “AFIA TELE” which means health in abundance in Swahili. It is going to have different services: a gym with different machines and games, counseling in psychologist, a nutritionist, a store of medicines, and a restaurant which respects diet. For the beginning, we are going to start with what will be possible ( and do the vision in phases, so that we may master one aspect before we move on to adding another part) depending to what God will give to us.
