Prayers
Glory and Honor to you our Heavenly Father for Your graciousness and infinite love You lavishes on us daily. How grateful we are being able to celebrate and receive the New Year. We are still on an awe of your faithfulness even now when we are living in the safe house with the girls. We thank You Father for each girl, thank you for your provision for them and that they all got to be in school. Thank you that they all got their basic needs for school supplies.
Thank you Lord for answering our prayers about the grandmother! How great to testify that now you have blessed us with a good grandmother who will be staying with the children and loving on them.
Also Father we raise to you the issue of WATER SERVICE (a well), for the house use and also for the gardens and our animals.
We trust you for the protection of these girls and that they may grow up in love and in an understanding of your grace in their lives. In Jesus name, amen.
Spiritual Self Defense
We thank you Lord for all the grace in the world, the fact that you are giving us all a chance to know you and to grow closer to you each day. The opportunity to serve others by helping them in their distress to know your everlasting hope and salvation is indeed the gift of live.
We Request you Father to help as we plant the seeds of your word in the hearts of Muslims girls we are reaching. That they may eventually know you and make you known to their families.
Physical Self Defense
We are as thankful as we are learning and becoming stronger each day. We thank God that we are able to meet as a team leaders and work on the techniques we are learning in Course 1. This course is helping us also to gain our confidence and will be a great benefit for our girls.

Our hearts are leaping for happiness. Having our 3 secondary school, 2 has gone to college and 2 have started primary school. Father, we bless you for these opportunities for our girls to be getting proper education. Thank you for Anna who just joined our family, now with a new page to write her story a new; knowing how You Father helped her through. She was about to suffer as the child bride but was rescued and brought to us and now she is in school having just started her first year in secondary school. Sia also joined our family due to a rape case, now as she attends school we all glorify God that she is both safe and receiving proper education. We are hoping to add one more girl to the family who is HIV positive and is being neglected by her own relative and even denying her the opportunity for education.
Economic Self Defense
We bless God for all that He blessed us with. We are grateful we were able to discuss financial sustainability of the safe house and we are trusting God for His provision.
Livestock & Crops
The livestocks He blessed us with, are doing very well and our two goats are pregnant. We are taking care of our pigs. Now we are letting them rest for a while and Thelma is still sick, please pray for her.
Moto Taxis
We also thank God for the Motorbikes project, so that the profit will help us send our girls to school, we thank God that He gave us a new driver and he start to ride this Dec.
This month 189,000/=Tsh goes to GWP servings and 81,000/=Tsh goes to supporting the house.
The grandmother now residing in the safe house is such a huge blessing. She will be a huge support around the house and these girls.
Outreach
The mother in this photo fought and begged for her last daughter to not be sold off- that she could have one daughter that goes to school. Her little one pictured here is only 14 years old and was going to be sold to a much older man where she would be raped and beaten for the rest of her life. Her mother snuck her to the roadside where Sandy picked her up and brought her to the safe house with Neema. Now she is being entered into school with the government backing her. Please pray for the mother as this can result in very harsh consequences for her.
Below, GWP leader, Sandy, on her regular outreaches to Maasai villages. Being Maasai herself, she is uniquely qualified for this position, to relate to them, speak into their lives and care for them.
Goals
Short Term Goals
- Start a new group in Arusha.
- Learn more moves for self defense.
- Having our Test on Course 1.
- Having Neema to the safe house.
- Start my driving school course. (Done)
- Follow up on Water services.
- Our girls will go back to school 2022.
Long Term Goals
- Get good results from our girls in school 2022.
- Getting an elderly woman who can stay with our girls in the safe house.
- Learn more new moves for self defense.
- Start doing outreaches especially to the more vulnerable groups.
- To have a very good Therapist.
Sandy’s Goals
- Visiting the schools and in villages, meet with the society and serve them.
- Go to the villages like twice a month to teach them, life skills, courage to stand for their own, to teach them about Jesus
Neema’s Goals
- To receive more girls who are in need
- Go to the interior villages, teaching them FGM, Early marriage, effects of Child birth, effects of using family planning to the younger girls
- Start teaching the CURRICULUM and I wish they will receive Jesus
- Teaching the women groups on Zero budget.
Erasto’s Goals
- The girls will get the food from our farm.
- The environment is in a good way taking care of the gardens.
- To ensure the security of the land and everything in it.
- To meet with the groups of Men, and create the soccer league to get more young men, to teach them how to respect and value the girls.
