Prayers
“Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.” 1 Chronicles 16:34 We glorify God our heavenly Father for He is good. We bless and praise His name forever. Our hearts gives thanks to the Holy Spirit for His guidance.
Spiritual Self Defense
Ephesian 3:14-19 says “ For this reason I kneel before the Father, 15 from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name. I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.”
This scripture has never been so real and true and authentic more than it has been now. Studying “my story part two and the fall part 1&2” have given these scripture so much life, knowing that people who are actually working hard for the safety of us girls are not by chance but meant and sent by God because they have known the truth and the greatest love of all. It is like a journey to self-discovering not as the sinner but a as a redeemed prodigal son. One girl asked “why would the Lord love us this much” and it is true, it is hard at times to accept that He created us so wonderful with love and even after the fall, His heart set out to redeem us out of the condemnation. That once we are with Him, nothing will separate us from Him. As we keep up learning this curriculum, we keep discovering the true love of Christ we never knew before.
We are more and more reminded that whatever we went through should never define us, in fact nothing should ever because our true identity is from God, our Creator and we should never forget that.
Physical Self Defense
We had to re-practice course 1 and 2 and do course 3! How happy to have confidence of physical self-defense as we walk in the unsafe streets. These skills come so handy especially once they master them and are able to use them.
We in fact want to thank the team who has been so busy preparing these lessons for us to learn. It is sad that we must watch out where and to whom do we teach these skills to but the very gratitude towards those who spends both their time and resources to create these contents is way bigger and it is from the deepest part of our thankfulness.
Intellectual Self Defense
Glory be to God our Father for the rest He has given us. August has been a rest time for our students, a break they so needed after such a long term. As they rest, they still got to do some extra studies to improve their performances. Some have been busy with their tailoring classes and it is so exciting to watch their progress. Talking of excitements, we can not wait to celebrate Upendo’s achievement as she graduate her diploma in Forestry and now we pray for her to get her job.
Now our girls are getting ready to head back to school in a few days. We thank the Lord for His provisions for them to being able to head back to school. We pray and wish them all the best for the rest of the term.

Economic Self Defense
We bless the Lord for His provisions, our crops and livestock are doing well. Our pig who was pregnant has given birth to 14 little piglets, and as we love on the little piglets we are so grateful to the Lord for such a huge blessing. We bless the Lord for also we have a driver for one of our motor now, God is so good.
We want to thank the Lord for His blessings on us. He truly has been good to us, and we certainly thank the teams who have been working tirelessly for all this to come to fruition.
Lord we pray and ask for your guidance and care, for Your provision and protection toward what You have blessed us with and what you are blessing us with. Father give us thankful hearts to be able to see how immensely you have blessed us. Give us wisdom to see what you’d want us see and do Your will and calling. We return all the glory to you and praise your loving kindness and salvation to mankind.
Safe House
Our very first GWP safe house sits on 2 acres presently. We own the land and safe house outright!
Livestock
Our Tanzania safe house has goats, cows, chickens and pigs that provide meat, eggs and milk for the girls!
Crops
Our Tanzania safe house has a large field where they grow beans and corn, as well as banana trees, a huge mango tree and lots of fruits and vegetables in the garden next to the house. This takes a huge burden off of the costs of their monthly food budget!
Moto Taxis
Now Neema’s team has 3 moto taxis!
The passive income received by two of the moto taxis pays for ALL of her girls to go to school for the entire year, including uniforms, books and supplies!! Praise God!
The 3rd moto taxi pays for ALL of her girls to have health insurance for the entire year!
* Please pray for more rain, we have been in a drought and have had a small harvest. Please also pray for our well. We need $5,000 more to dig deeper because we did not hit clean water yet.
Outreach
We truly thank God for His salvation; it gives meaning to all that we do. Thank YOU for being part of this ministry, we truly are so grateful. Your support both financially and prayers are what keep us moving as we serve the kingdom forwards. I and my team can not thank the Graceful Warriors Project enough for the donation towards the 2022 girls camp. Remembering how GWP always played such a great part in serving and developing the safety measures for the sake of the voiceless and society betterment altogether, this has gone to plant even more seeds and we can only hope to bear more fruits of peace, justice, Truth and so much more through Christ Jesus.
Then came the camp! We were planning for 250 girls in the beginning, then a few weeks before the camp nothing was on the plate. We came to a point where we prayed about postponing it to the later dates but yet it was glued, “Trust me, carry on with it. I am right here and WE are in this together” one staff member heard this as we prayed. We did not have enough funds, we did not have enough staff, and even the permit for the girls to attend was not working out well and many were not even sure if 50 girls would show up and I thought “what if we are not hearing this correctly”? So I went from planning for 200 girls to planning for 70 girls.
One week to the camp 16 staff confirmed their attendance and I got the call to carry on with the camp. The staff I went with to do shopping insisted on ratios for 200 girls. From the 70 girls I was planning for; to 203 girls who attended and 15 staff and 8 speakers/teachers and while I was so worried about the funds, we lacked nothing. This so far has been the biggest camp I have ever run and I am so glad I was not alone. PRAISE JESUS, “HE NEVER LEADS YOU WHERE HE CAN NOT GO WITH YOU”.
By the end of the camp our girls were so much different from when they came, their testimonies tells me it was not just teachers or the topics taught, the Holy spirit did His part to more than expectation. We learned “the heart of God, the Father “many were healed and their hearts set free. Through this, it opened the rest and it was easy for them to learn, receive and process not from the world perspective but from the point of view of God’s child. From girl’s child rights, careers, abuse and how to deal with trauma, HIV/AIDs and diseases, women’s health to understanding our cultures and being able to differentiate the “myth truth” from “TRUTH” that sets us free. It was a busy good week, and we could not have done all this on our own! Thank you for being part of the seed planting and growing the kingdom, now we just keep praying to God to water these seeds to bear fruits.
As one of the participants said “I feel like I can finally move the mountain, I can see a changed generation starting from me. Know the truth that sets one free is indeed a key to one’s freedom from un healthy practises and wrong believes such as female genital mutilation and denial to education. I am so thankful to have been able to attend this camp, I now know how to protect myself, where to go and even report abuse I did not know before that is actually abuse” This was a very successful camp despite how big it was, and we learned so much beyond our expectations. I am looking forward to partnering even more in the future projects!

Goals
Short Term Goals
– As we planned to have a football match, we didn’t succeed because it has been season of agriculture, so it has been hard to find a big number of men. We plan again this month.
-Teaching the girls in school, Lotima school.
-Visiting our girls in school.
Long Term Goals
- Get good results from our girls in school 2022.
- Getting an elderly woman who can stay with our girls in the safe house.
- Learn more new moves for self defense.
- Start doing outreaches especially to the more vulnerable groups.
- To have a very good Therapist.
Sandy’s Goals
- Visiting the schools and in villages, meet with the society and serve them.
- Go to the villages like twice a month to teach them, life skills, courage to stand for their own, to teach them about Jesus
Neema’s Goals
- To receive more girls who are in need
- Go to the interior villages, teaching them FGM, Early marriage, effects of Child birth, effects of using family planning to the younger girls
- Start teaching the CURRICULUM and I wish they will receive Jesus
- Teaching the women groups on how to do a “zero based budget.”
Erasto’s Goals
- The girls will get the food from our farm.
- The environment is in a good way taking care of the gardens.
- To ensure the security of the land and everything in it.
- To meet with the groups of Men, and create the soccer league to get more young men, to teach them how to respect and value the girls.
