Prayers
Neema’s Prayer:
“Our Heavenly Father, we thank you for this month of July, we glorify your name for everything that you provide for us, We are praying that you continue to pour your blessings to us, through our projects. Thank you LORD for a good health, that we have. Also we thank you for good health of Kelly, Honey and Congo team. Also we continue praying for our family in CONGO, praying for good protection upon them, we know that you have a very good for them and GWP as well.”
Sandy’s Prayer:
“Also seek the peace and prosperity of the city to which I have carried you into exile. Pray to the Lord for it, because if it prospers, you too will prosper. Jeremiah 29:7 God’s word is indeed His own breath and so fit to instruct us and guide us within this scary world. When neither left nor right holds straight truth, it is even more important now than it has ever been to lean on God’s word than ever.
We pray for the world’s peace and the spread of the Gospel to the nations. We pray for revival in the world and strengthened faith for those who are facing trials due to their faith. We pray for our sisters and brother within GWP for God’s grace and protection in their lives. We pray for all leaders that God may fill them with wisdom and courage. Our hearts glorify God on the Highest.”
Outreach
STREET KIDS MINISTRY
“The boys ministry have sprung with so much excitement as we witness God doing so much transformation in these boys. They have been in such a unity that they would contribute to buy soap for one boy to take a shower at the river. Not only do they provide shower soap, they would take the other boy and help him take a bath. This month alone they have helped 5 boys take a bath at the river. These are street boys whole literally live on the street and have nothing. Their compassion for one another have just brought us to tears.
We were able to reach out to more than 400 students with what God blessed us with, the school supplies. One might wonder, 400? Yes because a smallest gift is the biggest gift sometimes. A pencil to a student who had none for the semester is truly a miracle. That shows us that there is no such a thing as little kindness and there are no ways to glorify our God enough for all that He is doing. This was another way to bring hope to these kids that they are not forgotten, that God is watching and Know each of them.”
Spiritual Self Defense
Sandy’s Maasai Team:
“Our hearts blesses God for all His faithfulness and grace. Like the Jeremiah Verse above, this month God has focused us on praying for our surroundings and through laughter and tears. We learned about having gratitude regardless of our circumstances, we learned the beauty of meditation especially as we pray before we all set our day to school and work. One of the kids asked “if God is all that loving and so gracious, why He punished Adam and Eve so much that we still get to see all this fallen world today”? It is true that we ask ourselves the where about of God when we go through trials. Yet His grace and mercies are immense toward us, and we are not entitled to anything from Him yet He surrounds us with goods for that is Who He is; Our loving Father. Father, thank you for loving us even when we do not deserve and guiding us to understanding your word better.”
Neema’s Kilimanjaro Team:
In this month we were able to go through our curriculum Part 7 “THE RESULT” We repeat this part because our girls need more understanding, about this part.
Physical Self Defense
Sandy’s Maasai Team:
“Glory to our God for all of the protection on us. July has been such a blessing spreading the word of awareness about abuse. Is it not sad when rape is considered not rape? Is it not sad when a little girl is denied her rights to education in the name of marriage? Is this the intent from the Lord? No! Not at all and God is so gracious that now we get to share such a great news of re learning the truth. Not only do we get hope through His Word but also we learn of our worth and the lies we have lived in for so long. We praise God, this is only the beginning and we are so excited to see who the communities will change through these small steady steps.”
Neema’s Kilimanjaro Team:
This July we didn’t meet for Physical Self Defense because of the new baby.
Intellectual Self Defense
Neema’s Kilimanjaro Team:
We are very thank full to our GOD, that our girls are doing good at school, as Tatu (one of our girls) did very good in school, makes other girls to be inspired and promise to make wonders this Term in their studies.
Sandy’s Maasai Team:
“God, may our hearts glorify you forever for all the wisdom and knowledge you provides us each day. The opportunity to have access to education and the successful beginning of the semester surely is all goodness He lavishes us with. We bless the Lord all the girls are at school and they are studying hard.”

Sandy’s Maasai Team:
“Blessed be the Lord for His goodness. His endless provisions and fulfilled promises gives us new hopes for the unknown tomorrow. The bike He blessed us with is doing great. Blessed be God for His protection on the worker and the bike. God’s faithfulness have been so good and though it not something we take lightly. The days we had less made us appreciate the days we had enough, Blessed be His goodness.”
Safe House
Outdoor Kitchen
Livestock
Our Tanzania safe house has goats, cows, chickens and pigs that provide meat, eggs and milk for the girls!
