Prayer Chain

Dear Lord! We thank you for your kindness and what you are to us every single second of our life, we know things are difficult all around the world but that doesn’t make us feel insecure cause you are omnipotent and you say that you are with us everyday til the end of time.

We wanna thank you for GWP and its leaders, sometimes it’s really difficult for us to see how much our girls are suffering but you give us strength, leadership, love and the supporters of GWP to help us facing those situations so we ask you to continue blessing this group so that we can help more people around the world, we love you Father and we pray this to you in Jesus’s name. AMEN!

Spiritual Self Defense

Despite of the fact that it’s raining almost every afternoon, sometimes we get the chance to meet and we are in chapter 3 in the curriculum. I took the opportunity that lesson gave me to talk to them about the choices they are making on the daily basis. Eve made a choice despite of what God told her about not eating the apple, finally i made them understand that parents can tell them what it’s good to do but only them can decide what choice they will make: listen to their parents and act the good way or act the way this world ask them to act, to look like their friends or someone famous knowing that it’s not a good decision. If they decide to make a bad choice of course they will also have to suffer the consequences. That was an amazing lesson.

We are in course 2 and hope that everything is ready

to go to course 3 because our girl really want to move on and learn more moves to able to defend themselves and other people that might be in danger.

Pharmacy Business

The taxi (is still) working despite the constant gas problem.

For the pharmacy we know that beginnings are most of the time difficult so we are hoping that will get better by the coming time. We also hired one of the young women in our group to work at the pharmacy for us!

The Moto: we saved 3240 gdes for GWP and 3240 gdes for school fees
Pharmacy: we saved 270 gdes for GWP and 270 gdes for reinvestment.

Herlene’s birthday!

Food bank!

Due to the problem of inflation , some of our girls are missing food so we talk to sister Kelly about that and decided to give them food for 15 days because it was too expensive to do it for the whole month . So we Invite them at Chief D’jalanta’s house- they only knew it was an important meeting and also it was Herline’s birthday so we bought champagne, having popcorn . Everyone was talking to her to make her feel comfortable and important in that day, she was so happy and feel that really she is part of a family. After that we said that it’s Herline’s birthday but everybody will have a gift! They were excited and while we were coming with the bags of food we could see the joy in their faces, seeing that we are thinking about them, make them feel safety in an insecure world. We really thank our supporters for always giving to GWP so that we can help our girls. That means a lot to us and we bless you in Jesus’s name!

PLANNED FUTURE ACTIVITIES

We ask the girls to think about a project that can be good for them individually and for the group. Because we want them to think by themselves and learn how to manage a business. We’re going to be a back up for them and that will make them be less dependent.
