Prayers
Oh sing to the LORD a new song, for he has done marvelous things! His right hand and his holy arm have worked salvation for Him. The LORD has made known his salvation; he has revealed his righteousness in the sight of the nations. He has remembered his steadfast love and faithfulness to the house of Israel. Psalm 98: 1- 3.
December is always so exciting! Remembering the birth of Christ Jesus makes it even more special time of the year. Our theme this year for December outreach was “tell me so I can hear and learn” and it was indeed that. We were able to reach out to more than 300 people and encouraged many other. We spoke of the importance of education for a girl child.
Lord we bless your name and glorify You on high, thank you for the people we came across with this year. We pray for them to come to know you and make you known. We ask Lord of your guidance for 2023 and peace for our sisters and brothers who resides in Congo and Haiti. We ask of your protection over our girls as they start a new year ahead. Lord we ask of your wisdom and help us share your goodness and love to the world, that we may become the light and the salt needed for the change. In Jesus Father we pray amen
Spiritual Self Defense
Having all the girls at home is sure fun, can you imagine worship times and that beauty of fellowship with one another? We are so certainly blessed to walk along side each other growing in our faith. This month while some of our girls learn again curriculum five, asking a lot of questions and learning the very love of Christ the very reason for the season and others have grown to understand their own stories and found themselves owning the love of the Father.
Physical Self Defense
Course 1-4
We continue to thank God for continuing to walk with us. For this month as well as a lot of things especially the preparation of Christmas and New Year, we have been able to learn some of the moves in level 5. Our girls are happy to see they continue to the next level. Thanks a lot.
Intellectual Self Defense
We were able to celebrate Upendo’s graduation, and all of the girls had new dresses made for Christmas, don’t they look beautiful?!
December is marked by lots of exams, both nationals and annual exams, and are always not a simple task. Yet the Lord has done it. Ephrasia is now waiting for her form four national exam results as many others who did it. Ngashumbai finished her last exam after her graduation and now waiting for the results and searching for a job. All the girls closed schools for the big holidays. This makes it even more special that it is the end of the year, Christmas and a new year. Praise the Lord for the whole year of school provision and protection. Truly the Lord has been our God!

Economic Self Defense
Praise the Lord our projects have been such a blessing so far and our hearts are very merrier! The moto bikes are doing great and the farm and pigs and cows are all doing well. We are still praying and trusting God for a car that will help us with the food monthly.
Praise the Lord we have been blessed with buying new land within the Maasai land- we cannot wait to see what the Lord does through it. We are praying for the wall, well and the electricity on the land for it to start being used and developed to its full potential.
Safe House
Our very first GWP safe house sits on 2 acres presently. We own the land and safe house outright!
Livestock
Our Tanzania safe house has goats, cows, chickens and pigs that provide meat, eggs and milk for the girls!
Crops
Our Tanzania safe house has a large field where they grow beans and corn, as well as banana trees, a huge mango tree and lots of fruits and vegetables in the garden next to the house. This takes a huge burden off of the costs of their monthly food budget!
Moto Taxis
Now Neema’s team has 3 moto taxis!
The passive income received by two of the moto taxis pays for ALL of her girls to go to school for the entire year, including uniforms, books and supplies!! Praise God!
The 3rd moto taxi pays for ALL of her girls to have health insurance for the entire year!
Blessed be the Lord our provider, our projects are doing well. Pigs, motorcycles and cattle are doing well. We are hoping to be blessed with a calf next January! And our pigs will have new piglets too, how exciting it will be.
We certainly are so thankful that our girls have been able to be in school a whole year, having all school supplies and uniform. We have so much to be thankful for economically this season, we want to thank our sisters and brothers who are working day and night to support all our ministries and all that the Lord is doing worldwide.
Goals
Short Term Goals
– As we planned to have a football match, we didn’t succeed because it has been season of agriculture, so it has been hard to find a big number of men. We plan again this month.
-Teaching the girls in school, Lotima school.
-Visiting our girls in school.
Long Term Goals
- Get good results from our girls in school 2022.
- Getting an elderly woman who can stay with our girls in the safe house.
- Learn more new moves for self defense.
- Start doing outreaches especially to the more vulnerable groups.
- To have a very good Therapist.
Sandy’s Goals
- Visiting the schools and in villages, meet with the society and serve them.
- Go to the villages like twice a month to teach them, life skills, courage to stand for their own, to teach them about Jesus
Neema’s Goals
- To receive more girls who are in need
- Go to the interior villages, teaching them FGM, Early marriage, effects of Child birth, effects of using family planning to the younger girls
- Start teaching the CURRICULUM and I wish they will receive Jesus
- Teaching the women groups on how to do a “zero based budget.”
Erasto’s Goals
- The girls will get the food from our farm.
- The environment is in a good way taking care of the gardens.
- To ensure the security of the land and everything in it.
- To meet with the groups of Men, and create the soccer league to get more young men, to teach them how to respect and value the girls.
