As we step into this new year of 2025, we come before you with hearts of full gratitude for the gift of life and blessings you have given us. We thank you for guiding us through the past year and allowing us to see this new beginning.
We lift up our girls, a precious gift in our lives, and ask for your continued blessings, protection and guidance over them. Watch and lead them in the right path, grant them wisdom in their decisions, strength and their challenges and success in their life. May they continue to grow in good health, both physically and emotionally, and their hearts be filled with love, compassion and understanding.
As parents, grant us the patience, wisdom and strength to nurture and guide them in the best way possible. Help us be the role models who inspire them to walk in kindness, integrity and faith.
We dedicate this New Year to you LORD, trusting in your divine care and provision. May 2025 be a year of peace, joy and prosperity for our families and loved ones.

In our spiritual journey, we have been focusing on helping our girls learn and understand Bible verses in English. This has been a great step in their growth, allowing them to strengthen their faith and increase their knowledge of Scripture. We have introduced example of Bibles verse, ensuring they not only memorize but also grasp their meaning and apply them in their daily lives.
JOHN 3:16 ‘says, “for GOD so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.’’
Our girls had some questions from the bible verses and get to learn from them too.
Fatuma: who loved the world?
Zawadi: GOD loved the world
Agness: why is John 3:16 considered an important verse in Christianity?
Anna: because it summarizes God’s love, the sacrifice of Jesus and the way to salvation through faith in him.
Also Tatu give us a word of God from this bible verse, Proverbs 3:5-6 ‘’trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding in all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your paths’’

Men’s Ministry
As we need more changes in our community, we really like to involve Men in GWP programs, we thank GOD for them as they continued to attend the meetings with Erasto. It has been a great opportunity to have this men’s group in our village because they agreed to be with Erasto hand in hand to make sure that we have a safe village for women. So they had a discussion with Erasto on different matters and also they had a football match. In January they had 3 meetings and also Erasto got very sick and had to be in the hospital but he is home and doing better now praise God!
Physical Self Defense

For last year in December we had Kelly and the Team in Tanzania again, and it was a truly wonderful experience. Her presence bought a new level of excitement and learning, as our girls got the opportunity to learn new defense techniques and improve their physical strength.
Through these lessons, the girls are not only gaining valuable self-defense skills but also developing discipline, confidence and resilience. They are actively engaging in physical exercises, which are essential for overall well –being.
We are proud to see them practicing daily throughout the week except on Sundays. Their commitment and hard work are truly inspiring. Each day, they are becoming stronger, more confident and more skilled in their training.
Intellectual Self Defense
As the new academic year progresses, all our girls have advanced to the next grade and are doing well in their studies. Our secondary school girls attend Saturday test regularly, showing great dedication. We are especially proud of Sia and Shamsa for joining secondary school, Rebecca and Eunice performed well in their national exams and are now in grade 5, while Tatu and Rehema have progressed to form three thus they did their best in their form two national exams. We celebrate their achievement and look forward to continued success. These are our kids that had the national exams but all of our kids are doing well in school praise God.

Economic Self Defense
As we really need to be fully self- sustained, we tried to have more projects so that we can get more money for our daily needs.
So we have different projects like livestock, farms, motorbikes, chickens, pigs and Noah. Also we are in the process of starting a beekeeping very soon.
In this month of January we were able to make 650,000 from the Noah.

Also we have classes for groups of women and men, we have the budget classes with them, they are so excited to have the classes. Also to get loan.
Our Beautiful Safe House
Built in 2020- the land was purchased by the William Rhodes Foundation and the safe house was build by the Rainbow Sandals Foundation. The beginning to many generations of redeemed lives by God’s great love and unending mercy.
Our Community Water Well
The water well we put on our land not only gives us water, but the whole community!

Our Farm: Livestock
This TZ safe house has goats, cows, chickens and pigs that provide meat, eggs and milk for the girls!
Our Farm: Crops
This TZ safe house has a large field where they grow beans and corn, as well as banana trees, a huge mango tree and lots of fruits and vegetables in the garden next to the house. This takes a huge burden off of the costs of their monthly food budget!
Moto Taxi Business
Our TZ team has 3 moto taxis!
The passive income received by two of the moto taxis pays for ALL of her girls to go to school for the entire year, including uniforms, books and supplies!! Praise God!
The 3rd moto taxi pays for ALL of her girls to have health insurance for the entire year!
Taxi Van Business

Solar Panels
Thanks to La Jolla Christian Fellowship we have solar panels on the house now! This eliminates our electricity bill and further reduces our dependence on foreign aid! We are almost completely self sustaining praise God!
Our Guard Dogs
We have a new guard dog named Sal! We bought him from the police station and when he gets a little older he will receive trainings from them so that he can be an extra layer of protection for the girls! Praise God!
