Father God Who is in heaven, today we praised you and thank you because you are awesome . We wanna ask you for forgiveness and also we wanna thank you for sister D’jalanta , she is getting better by your grace. Lord we are so thankful for everything you are doing for us at the same time we cannot hide the truth from you and let you know that we feel so sad about what’s happening in our country now , everyday it is becoming less livable, but despite of all this we believe in Your Word and its accomplishment so we know that you will keep us safe. Please Father, raise up good christian leader in our country. People who put you first and care for the people. You can see we are fed up with this situation but we know only you can bring peace to our country. We love you Lord and we pray you in Jesus’s name. Amen!
Spiritual Self Defense
Kids ministry
We went to their area to feed them to avoid them being exposed to all that going on (with the dangerous protests). They were so happy and more of them wanted to get in to eat. We were so moved by the situation there, the poverty is so real.
Men’s Team: (Since it is too dangerous to move in the city, we meet through whatsapp). In the WhatsApp group, we keep on encouraging them to read their bible, pray and work on their relationship with God.
Women’s Team: Unfortunately D’jalanta spent the month sick so she couldn’t attend the meetings to have spiritual self defense with them and anyway with the situation here it is difficult to meet but we meet once and we took the time to let them know no matter what the situation can be , they should never forget that God is in Control.
Physical Self Defense
Protesters
Women’s group: We are facing bad situations here so meeting with the groups become difficult ,but we took the time to remind them that Physical self defense is made exactly for the kind of Situation we are living right now. We have to be ready for anything.
Men’s group: This month was very difficult for us to meet With all that’s happening. Hopefully that won’t last for a long time.
Intellectual Self Defense
One of our student’s, Dephky, was saying that because the protesters are coming to the schools to make sure that the schools don’t work, the police come and gas them, and then our students get gassed as well.
Sometimes school cannot work because of the protests which keep us from covering their tuition fees, so when administration will come back will do so when the best time come.
