Neema’s January Update!
Graceful Warriors Project is the project which aimed to empower women and to teach Self defense to women and girls.
The founder of G.W.P is KELLY from California. We thank GOD for Kelly because sometimes it’s very hard for a young girl like her to hear and receive the voice of GOD, because some of them they see it doesn’t have any profit and not necessary for them. She is Unique.
She receive and hear the voice of GOD and agreed to serve Him in any means no matter what, for her it doesn’t matter how far she travel, how much money she spend, how much time she spend and difficulties she met the only thing that she knows is to serve GOD.
TANZANIAWe thank GOD for this opportunity of having G.W.P. here in TANZANIA, which is very helpful in our culture and traditions, health, economic empowerment and education support, which will be headed by Neema (Tanzanian Chief).
CULTURE AND TRADITIONS
It’s very hard to change someone s culture and traditions to they receive and believe since they were born. As we know here in Tanzania we have a lot tribes with different cultures and some of them has very bad cultural practices especially in Massai tribe, so it’s our responsibilities to make sure that women and girls in those areas are doing well and to change their attitudes towards them.
In other tribes girls are not allowed to go to school, they can’t speak anything in front of men and they don’t have boundaries of their body.
WOMEN EMPOWERMENT
Also G.W.P. has started a PIG FARM here in Tanzania for Neema. Which was done for the aim or empowering her and her family as well as G.W.P.
All these is because of the love of GOD. Now we have 3 pigs Thelma, Toto ana Louise
EDUCATION
As in Prov 4: 13. We thank GOD that, this year 2019, we were able to take 2 girls to school, who are Sisina and Ephrasia. G.W.P were able to give them school fees and other school supplies.
I believe that to educate a woman/ girl is to educate the whole community.
