Spiritual Self Defense
Neema is giving glory to God as everyone is still doing very well! She is praying for those who are continuing their studies and discussions of their curriculum. Additionally, Neema says they are praying for our mentor, Kelly, the other donors, the sustainability projects, and all the other students and girls around the world working with G.W.P. Ultimately, she is praying for all those in need around the world and is excited to see God’s continuing hand in it all.
Physical Self Defense
Still at home due to COVID, Neema says the girls have lots of time to keep learning self-defense. She says they “are continuing to learn different moves with the girls and all are doing very well”. They have also begun using a song to help the girls remember different self-defense moves.
Intellectual Self Defense
The girls continue to do well at school and Neema tells us that their new girls, Sophia and Lightness, are still with them as well. Sophia has a dream to become a pharmacist and she’s doing so well in school that Neema thinks she should have no problem making this dream a reality. Neema says “let us pray for her so as she can reach her dream”.
Lightness hopes to become a teacher and therefore wants to go to secondary school since she was unable to attend when her mother was actively trying to marry her off. Neema also tells us that during this difficult time, Lightness became pregnant, but thankfully she and the baby are healthy. Neema asks that we “pray for all they need” and continue giving them spiritual and social support.
Economic Self Defense
Neema has 29 piglets now! Following up from last month, all the pigs were pregnant and now they have given birth. Thelma had twelve piglets, Louise had eight, and Toto had nine. She says the chickens are also doing very well and have produced many eggs for them to eat.
Community Outreach
We thank God that we are able to continue going out and help people in our community. This month our Tanzania team is still giving out masks and educating others on COVID 19.
