Prayers
Neema’s Prayer:
Dear God, we thank you for this month of June, we thank you for your provision and increasing our family. We are praying that you continue providing for us, through our projects.
Thank you GOD for the farms and crops that, we are going to harvest in August. we are believing that our crops will be healthy.
Thank you God for our baby Gladness and our mother, for their good health and Joy.
Also in a special way, we are united with our family in CONGO, praying for GOD to surround them in this hard moment they have. In fact it is very sad to see the part of our family passing through this.
We love them and continue praying for them.
Sandy’s Prayer:
So He said to me, “This is the word to Zerubbabel; ‘Not by might nor by power, but my Spirit,’ says the Lord Almighty. Zechariah 4:6. Father we praise you for such a love and HOPE. Thank Father God for your favor upon us and for giving us the very opportunity to be called your children.
Outreach
STREET KIDS MINISTRY
Here we get to witness your love, your caring self and we are all left in awe of your goodness. Your Heart God is just so pure that when we are drown closer to it, we are more humbled and are made so thankful for all that you bless us with. This month we have five street boys gives their lives to Christ and our meetings are growing from 15boys to currently 80+boys. Blessed God for such saved souls and the fellowship we keep having with the Lord and the growth we are seeing each time we meet.
THE 2023 GIRLS CAMP
Blessed God for always being truly for us for in such none will be against us. Our hearts are just out of words gratitude for no words can truly express our thankfulness to the Lord and to all that made this yearly event such a success. We had 230 girls attend the camp, 13 speaker (teachers) and 13 staffs. We thank God for each individual that was chosen to stand before our girls because each one played such part in a way that proved God was the one doing it and not us alone. The crowd went from this meek and silence to courageous, loud and hopeful confident group of girls. We witnessed the transformation as we got to learn each day. The camp themed “Destiny in Purpose” where by multiple topics were taught; ranging from women/children’s right including rights for education, property ownership and authority over one’s body, understanding our cultures and how to escape the harmful norms such as FGM, early marriages to learning about careers, dreams and visions and so much more.
This camp have definitely been so different from our previous camps and such a success in a way that our hearts were lead to worship and commit to Christ by the end of the camp. The girls were so thankful for the camp, and many are already asking about next year’s camp. We truly glorify God for all those who made this a success and for all the teachers and staffs who worked so tirelessly to make this such a success. Truly we give our God all the glory and honor.
Spiritual Self Defense
Neema’s Kilimanjaro Team:
In this month our girls were reading the Bible every night together and praying for Neema and the baby. I thank God that, my health is doing good and the baby too.
Sandy’s Maasai Team:
“Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth.” Thank you Lord that You shepherd and sharpen while molding us into your likeness. Thank you Father God that we are called into light and we are made to glow your light for others to see.
This month we loved learning about the destiny in purpose, That God actually made us with purpose. Such eye opening to learning and meditating on hearing God’s voice so we can know our callings and pursue it as He leads and invites us to work with Him. How humbling knowing all we do and long to do that He will always be with us step by step.
Physical Self Defense
Neema’s Kilimanjaro Team:
This June we didn’t meet for Physical Self Defense, because Neema and Erasto was at the Hospital, so the girls were doing practicing themselves here at home.
Sandy’s Maasai Team:
Blessed be the Lord for His goodness and the health over our physical beings. The strengths and courage He lead us to grow into does amazes us. He opens our eyes to see the truth about our physical being this is what we have learned this month.
We did affirmation on our given physical bodies and forgave where we were hurt. Rape and female genital mutilation can produce shame yet it is not the victim’s fault and we are so humbled that God would lead us into healing and acceptance. This also has lead us to finding courage to fight against such as one of the girls puts it “If I ever come across a girl being forced into this cruelty, I’ll definitely fight for her and call the right people now that I know how to identify them”
Intellectual Self Defense
Neema’s Kilimanjaro Team:
In this month our girls has going back to school for the other Term, So I thank God, because all the girls had a good performance in their exams, but one of our girls her name is TATU TANO GALAHENGA was doing the Best ( A+) in her Exams.
Neema’s Kilimanjaro Team:
Also, we thank God that Upendo has got her Certificates officially, so now she can apply for a job anywhere.
Please continue to pray for my girls who are in Secondary school and for those who have National Exams this year.
Sandy’s Maasai Team:
“Train a child in the way he should go, even when he is old he will not depart from it.” Proverb 22:6
We all enjoyed the holiday so much from school. We got to fellowship with one another and we were able to participate the camp and we learned so much there. Our hearts are overflowing with gratitude and thankfulness for all the knowledge God is imparting into our lives. Schools are opening soon and we cant wait to go back and build the better future through this tool of education the Lord has provided us with.

Safe House
Outdoor Kitchen
Livestock
Our Tanzania safe house has goats, cows, chickens and pigs that provide meat, eggs and milk for the girls!
Crops
Our Tanzania safe house has a large field where they grow beans and corn, as well as banana trees, a huge mango tree and lots of fruits and vegetables in the garden next to the house. This takes a huge burden off of the costs of their monthly food budget!
Moto Taxis
Now Neema’s team has 3 moto taxis!
The passive income received by two of the moto taxis pays for ALL of her girls to go to school for the entire year, including uniforms, books and supplies!! Praise God!
The 3rd moto taxi pays for ALL of her girls to have health insurance for the entire year!
Taxi Car
“Also it was our prayer to be sustainable and independent here in Kilimanjaro, but now we thanks God that we are almost done. We thank God that we have our Car, which will help us to get food, electricity etc.” -Neema, Kilimanjaro Safe house Mama
