Lord, you are alpha and omega, the beginning and the end; you create that amazing nature so beautifully, why should I not worship you when I’m so speechless before all of your wonders. I thank you Father for every leader who is part of this project especially Sister Kelly whose you are using to bring that project everywhere in the world. God, we are in bad situations in our country and we know at this point only you can say something and make something happen to stop the suffering and make life better for us.
So we beg you to act in the name of Jesus as the word says ‘’ unless the LORD builds the house, the builders labor in vain. Unless the LORD watches over the city, the guards stand watch in vain.’’
We believe that everyone else can try but will not succeed but you are omnipotent and we believe you will do it for us because we are your children. Father, we have a business project that we already plan about now. We are just waiting for you to approve so that we can start and help others to become independent financially. Also we have a project for our town this December. Please help us make it come true. Lord, I’m so thankful for the food you provided for us to share with our girls and it was so amazing to see a smile on their faces.
Oh! We bless your name for that unexplainable love and for all you are to us. We praise you in the name of your son Jesus who is our lord and savior.
Spiritual Self Defense
We meet them as usual we learn verses and songs. We make sure that we talk with them about their relationship with the Lord during those difficult days. And, we encourage them to usually pray and read the bible because the devil will never take a break.
Physical Self Defense
We are in course one in GWP Self-Defense. We are practicing fight stance and technical stand up. The girls realize that in the problems we have, it’s very important to know how to defend themselves as girls.
Intellectual Self Defense
School hasn’t started yet for the girls. Chief Frantzcia was able to register herself and one of her GWP girls into school starting this January with the money she has saved from her GWP moto taxi business! It’s so amazing that we are able to send two of our girls to university!
Economic Self Defense
The gas problem is back but the taxi driver worked for the month of November, we don’t know how it’s going to be for December. This month we saved 3240 gdes for School and 3240 gdes for my GWP Group.
The Blessing of a Group
We are in a difficult moment in our country where everything becomes expensive and there are a lot of people who cannot satisfy their needs, especially needs of food. So how is it for our girls in that specific situation? That was the question we had to ask them and the answer was not too good to hear.
We talked about that with Sister Kelly and she decided to help them with some food. She sent us money, we bought food and invited them to an important meeting but they did not know we had food to share with them. When they came, we talked about the importance of being part of a group, especially GWP.
After that we showed them the food, and they were so happy to see that they will not have to be worried about food for a month. They were so glad to be part of us and are ready to work hard for that project to succeed in Haiti and be useful to other girls just like it is for them.
Also, please pray for Frantzcia’s mom clothing stand to quickly be rebuilt, after it burned down.
Project
We met this Saturday and came up with a business project that is making peanut butter to sell with other businesses like supermarkets and other places that we know here. We think it will be a good business and that will help us have money to help other girls to be financially independent.
