Prayer Chain
God thank you for the breath of life because wake up in Goma is a grace, other days revel from miracle, as a leader I’m thankful when I see what you are doing for us and realize where we come from my heart is full of gratitude.
Thank God for the gifts of life, we bless you for your grace and favor to us thank you for the opportunity granted to each of us. We are no longer missing what to eat or drink, and we are thankful for good health you give us. Even in the darkest moment, you sustain us with your divine presence and lift us up, you remind us all the time to put our trust in you and look at you for everything and for who you are. You take care of us day and night, you who neither sleep thanks for being our Jehovah Jireh, thanks for The Graceful Warrior Project and all the member around the world.
Outreach: Refugee Camp
As most of you know, we have adopted a part of a refugee camp. Several organizations, including ours, were invited to help a refugee camp close by that was in extreme need. Annette said when they first visited, that even the men were crying seeing the devestation. Since then, we suggested that we divide the refugee camp into sections and each organization would take responsibility for what they could. By the grace of God, we were able to adopt 2 sections of the refugee camp.
We installed 2 large water tanks so that they could have access to clean water for drinking, cooking, bathing and cleaning.
Because of our girl’s sewing class, we were able to sew 15,000 reusable pads for the women and girls at our refugee camp so that they can have access to reproductive health care without having to deal with infections and disease.
We have organized a little school by the grace of God for 78 children in our section and our neighbors section. We have around 3,000 children in our 2 sections, so 78 does not seem like a lot but we have to start somewhere and with what we have. We know that God will multiply if we keep putting one foot in front of the other.
It cost $950 to construct the little school and to buy a blackboard and chalk and some pens and paper for the children.
We are paying the teachers $50 per month + food (there are 4 teachers total, 2 from within our refugee camp that were teachers in their villages before they had to flee from rebel armies).
We are going to start having self defense classes for the little girls who have been raped in the section of our refugee camp. They range from 3 years old to 14. The 3 year old has become handicap emotionally and physically.
Please pray with us that we can build a colony house in our section of the refugee camp. It will cost $20,000 to build a colony house that will house 1,000 of the most vulnerable women in children in our section. We have around 15,000 people in our section of the refugee camp. (We joined with other organizations, divided the entire refugee camp into sections so that we can organize, govern, raise money and deal with issues on smaller scales).
The orphanage we partner with, Compassion, had their 5 year anniversary so we went to celebrate with them. We are so proud of them!
Spiritual Self Defense
This month we were bless about knowledge is power. The bible provides us with knowledge that gives us both spiritual power and authority God’s will and navigate life in alignment with His principles.
Worship the Creator, Not the Creation
It’s essential to maintain a focus on God, the Creator, rather than placing undue importance on material things or rituals. This is a recurring theme in the Bible, where we are reminded to give honor to God above all.
Physical Self Defense
As a girl I know and I face abuse in the past and some time (still) these days from immoral men. When we talk about abuse is in all aspect physical abuse, intellectual abuse, verbal abused, sexual abuse … I understand the important of knowing how to protect myself for all this because it hurts- every woman need to develop physical abilities to be able to defend herself in case of danger- violence become more and more as a part of normal life. Because of the war all around us, we hear gunfire every night. People’s mentality is, “You kill my people so I will kill your people.” Sometimes you forget you are talking to children because of the experiences that they have been through.
Intellectual Self Defense
For this month nothing is new all our girls and boys are in school, we pray for school fees may the Lord our God provide for them what need so they can learn in security. Is very important to prepare their future.
Music Lessons
Because of the children’s busy school schedules, they learn about music bi-weekly.
Tailoring Training
Weekly trainings with Rachel, a very skilled young woman that we sent to school for tailoring!

Event Planning Business
Our events business, Ibiza Dalia, we had one event we were able to plan, and we rented out our faux flowers to someone else!
Taxi Van
We didn’t have our taxi van booked for any clients but in November we already have two bookings! Our taxi van income goes towards sending our kids to school. We are even able to pay for half of the cost for our kids to go to school for this next semester!
Chips Business
In October we found more clients for our chips business. We even were able to produce more chips! (We had to stop producing for a while because the rebel armies were blocking the route from where we are getting our bananas and potatoes, but we have been trying to find other solutions for where to get them). We are still waiting for our big machines from China, one is to cut the potato/banana chips and one is to pack them. (Annette won a grant from an NGO in Eastern Congo for her Chips business and was able to travel to China to pick out some larger machinery to scale her business- we are SO PROUD OF HER!)
