Prayers
I waited patiently for the LORD; And He inclined to me and heard my cry. He brought me up out of the pit of destruction, out of the miry clay, And He set my feet upon a rock making my footsteps firm. He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God; Many will see and fear And will trust in the LORD. “Psalm 40: 1-3” Praise His name forever.
Spiritual Self Defense
“Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.” Phil 1:6
We are more often reminded of the Lord’s confidence to being with us, working with us, and even more helping us grow to the fullness of His salvation. We are forever thankful for such grace. Being able to proceed with the third part of the “Finding Myself in the Gospel Story” curriculum have been such a joy for the girls learning. It has been such an engaging tool for them and we are so thankful to have had peaceful environment to learn at.
Generally we thank the Lord for the peace of the world, for the salvation through the gospel of Christ that is spreading to the every part of the world. Praise His grace for our sisters and brothers in Haiti and Congo for all the provision and protection He has been blessing them with.
We keep praying for water, as the well is still unfinished. We pray for Ukraine and other parts of the world with such unrest to find light of justices through Christ Jesus.
Lord our Father, We GLORIFY YOUR NAME ON HIGH!
Physical Self Defense
Neema’s girls at the safe house have successfully graduated from Course 3 and are now on to Course 4! All of their hard work is paying off!
“O my strength, I will sing praises to You; For God is my stronghold, the God who shows me loving kindness.” Psalm 59:17
We were able to continue with course 3 and the girls have been so delighted to be growing strong and confident with each course they learn. When they enjoy learning you know they are re-building their self-esteem.
Intellectual Self Defense
Praise Jesus who honored us with rest time, our girls got back to school after such a beautiful long rest. We are most thankful for the provision that has helped them get their school needs and supplies for the second term of the school year. One of the girls who joined the safe house has successfully joined the neighboring school to the fifth grade! We certainly wish them all the best as they work toward the end of the school year, may the Lord be glorified in their studies.

Economic Self Defense
“Our lives do not consist in the abundance of our possessions but by the fullness of God’s presence in our lives.” -unknown
Yet we thank God for all His provisions and blessings, our piglets are doing well and are growing very well. The Lord has blessed us with the 78kg of beans and all of our bikes are still working great.
Safe House
Our very first GWP safe house sits on 2 acres presently. We own the land and safe house outright!
Livestock
Our Tanzania safe house has goats, cows, chickens and pigs that provide meat, eggs and milk for the girls!
Crops
Our Tanzania safe house has a large field where they grow beans and corn, as well as banana trees, a huge mango tree and lots of fruits and vegetables in the garden next to the house. This takes a huge burden off of the costs of their monthly food budget!
Moto Taxis
Now Neema’s team has 3 moto taxis!
The passive income received by two of the moto taxis pays for ALL of her girls to go to school for the entire year, including uniforms, books and supplies!! Praise God!
The 3rd moto taxi pays for ALL of her girls to have health insurance for the entire year!
* Please pray for more rain, we have been in a drought and have had a small harvest. Please also pray for our well. We need $5,000 more to dig deeper because we did not hit clean water yet.
Outreach
Visiting the girls as they open schools! Encouraging them, praying with them, and helping them with a little of what God has blessed us with! Most of them had no school uniforms or shoes and that can be sometimes the very reasons they cannot stay in school. We were able to provide some with shoes, which made them believe in themselves too, and that they are not alone in their journey! Praise be to Jesus!
“When the ladies meet, expect better changes!”
I am so blessed to have this group meet this month, it is the first time Neema Joseph (GWP’s newest leader) was able to meet at Arusha city as a GWP staff! We spoke in depth on how to serve better our communities and committed to reaching out to few women and help them them be the ambassadors of the change we seek within! We plan on meeting again next month!
